Auctions/update/News…Glass Lady with a dress #10~Goddess of breath
June 21, 2008
Latticino rods of glass welded together into a landscape. Something about it is just so SUPER exciting to me. Everytime I pull one out of the kiln, I see so much more detail than I even thought was there. I pull the glass into strings of two or three colors. This adds fine lines of detail.
A beautiful painterly landscape is behind Lady with a dress #10. Goddess of Air and breath. She is the color of the sky.

I do not think I showed you this one…Funky, surreal setting, kindof Dr. Sues-ish…with the walking man murrini in place.
(Also at auction; LOTS of new stuff out there!)

I am thrilled to celebrate my most recent trade on the internet. I have started showing my murrini on line, and selling it. Now! I get to trade some with another Artist. I AM SO EXCITED! I am waiting for it to come in the mail. I’ll let you know what some other people create. I am trading with someone that is collecting murrini for a personal collection that will be exhibited in Colorado. What an honor. I feel like I won a prize!

Beautiful Goddess of Breath materializing into human form in that landscape! The way you did her, I really imagine her as being a goddess who transforms herself from something as hard to grasp as the wind into an ethereal figure of beauty. Oh,and I like the Seuss-ian feel to the other one, too! Ang
